Scarborough COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic
Scarborough Health Network (SHN) and our Scarborough Ontario Health Team (SOHT) and local partners have come together to rollout the COVID-19 vaccine across our community. We are doing this through vaccine clinic sites and mobile vaccine teams. We are pleased to be keeping our community safe and healthy.

Vaccines for Kids 5-11

Walk in for Kids 5-11 is available at The Hub – SCHC clinic.

Book an appointment at our Kids 5-11 clinics. We are specially prepared for helping families to get younger children vaccinated, offering a safe, calm, and kid-friendly experience — including Scarborough’s V TEAM! Captain V Bear and the V Team kids use body, mind, and heart to stop COVID-19 in its tracks. Children will receive their own V Team passport book, colouring pages and more at their appointment.
- Children aged 5 to 11 years old
- Parent/Guardian must accompany child
Winter Boosters (bivalent)
- The Ontario Ministry of Health recommends 6 months since 2nd dose
- Bivalent boosters protects individuals against two strains of COVID-19 (the original strain and the Omicron variant)
- For individuals who recently had COVID-19 infection, should be at least 3 months since symptom onset or positive test (if asymptomatic)
1st and 2nd dose:
- The Ontario Ministry of Health recommends 8 weeks between the first and second dose
- For 2nd doses: May receive 2nd dose if it has been at least 21 days since 1st dose, and with parental consent
Immunocompromised kids:
- Kids 5-11 who are immunocompromised can get a 3rd dose at 8 weeks after their 2nd dose as part of an extended primary series
- For Winter Boosters (monovalent and bivalent): The Ontario Ministry of Health recommends getting 6 months since last dose – may receive if it has been at least 3 months since last dose, and with parental consent
- Parent/Guardian must accompany child
What to bring

Must provide a form of photo ID with your child’s name and birthdate (such as a health card or government-issued ID, if you have one)
